Boilermaker Alliance Welcomes Dave Neff as New President and CEO

West Lafayette, IN, December 12, 2023 – In a significant move, Boilermaker Alliance, the Exclusive Name Image and Likeness Collective for Purdue University, is proud to announce the appointment of Dave Neff as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Neff's remarkable journey through the realms of sports management with Pacers Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) and ExactTarget (Salesforce) equips him with a unique blend of leadership and results-driven expertise. His extensive Indiana network, encompassing funds, foundations, committees, and boards, further underscores his capability to lead and innovate.

At the heart of Boilermaker Alliance's mission is the unwavering commitment to empowering Purdue Athletes to excel both in their sporting endeavors and as community influencers. "Dave Neff's leadership appointment opens a dynamic new chapter for Boilermaker Alliance," said Mark Carney, Chairman of the Boilermaker Alliance Board. "His broad experience in sports management and his track record of strategic leadership and brand development ideally positions us to uplift Purdue athletes in profound ways."

"I am deeply honored to step into this role and uphold and enrich the legacy of Purdue University and its remarkable student-athletes. Together, we will build on the solid foundation laid by Boilermaker Alliance, fostering an environment where excellence, integrity, and community service are not just ideals but everyday realities for our Purdue family,” said Dave Neff, President and CEO, Boilermaker Alliance.

Neff's journey through PS&E and Salesforce has uniquely prepared him to guide Boilermaker Alliance. His tenure at PS&E, rich in sales and marketing insights, coupled with his tenure as Global Sports Marketing Manager at Salesforce, where he spearheaded strategic partnerships, has sharpened his expertise in corporate partnerships and resource mobilization. His Indiana network is poised to significantly benefit Boilermaker Alliance's objectives.

Beyond sports management, Neff's leadership as CEO of EDGE Mentoring saw the organization's expansion across 45 states and multiple countries. His recent role as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Prolific, a global strategic growth and consulting firm, and his involvement with the 2024 NBA All-Star Host Committee and various boards, including Providence Cristo Rey High School and Discovering Broadway Advisory Board, alongside his participation in the Liberty Fund and Indiana Sports Corporation, reflect his multifaceted leadership approach.

“The Boilermaker Alliance’s success has an immediate and direct impact on our student-athletes and sports programs,” said Mike Bobinski, Purdue University Vice President and athletics director. “We are thrilled with the selection of such an impactful and accomplished professional in Dave Neff as the Alliance’s first president and CEO. Our staff looks forward to supporting Dave’s work in every way possible.”
